The journey begins with an exciting overnight Volvo ride from Delhi to Tirthan Valley, covering approximately 470 kilometers over 11-12 hours. As the travelers depart in the evening, they settle in for a comfortable journey, eagerly anticipating the adventures ahead.
Upon arrival in Aut the next morning, the group is transferred to Gushaini. While backpackers embark on a trek to Choie waterfall, bikers head to Manali to collect their bikes and enjoy a test ride back to Gushaini. The day ends with a cozy stay at a resort and a delicious dinner, preparing everyone for the days ahead.
Day two sees the travelers departing for Chitkul via Kinnaur Valley, a scenic journey of around 230 kilometers taking 10-11 hours. En route, they marvel at the breathtaking landscapes of Kinnaur valley along the Satluj River. Upon reaching Chitkul, the group checks into camps, ready for an evening of relaxation and overnight stay.
The adventure continues on day three with exploration of Chitkul's local village before departing for Kalpa. Covering approximately 80 kilometers over 6-7 hours, the journey offers stunning views and culminates in an overnight stay at a hotel in Kalpa, filled with hearty dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Day four takes the travelers from Kalpa to Kaza via Nako, Tabo, and the mesmerizing Ka loops, covering a distance of 220 kilometers in 8-9 hours. They enter Spiti Valley through Sumdo Border, visiting villages and enjoying the scenic drive. Upon reaching Kaza, they settle in at the campsite, gearing up for more adventures ahead.
The fifth day is dedicated to visiting Key Monastery, Hikkim, Komic, and Langza. Travelers experience the serene Key Monastery, visit the highest suspension bridge in Asia at Chicham, and explore the highest inhabited regions like Komic. They also send postcards from the world's highest post office in Hikkim and explore the rich fossil sites of Langza, ending the day with an overnight stay in Kaza.
On day six, the journey continues to Chandra Taal lake, a drive of approximately 95 kilometers taking 5-6 hours. En route, a pit stop at Losar offers a chance to enjoy snacks before reaching Chandra Taal by evening. The night is spent in tents under the starlit sky, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
The penultimate day sees the travelers departing for Manali, a journey of 111 kilometers taking 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Manali, they check into a hotel and embark on an Old Manali café crawl, savoring the local flavors. The day ends with a hearty dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
The final day in Manali is dedicated to self-exploration, with visits to Hadimba Devi Temple, Old Manali street, and Mall Road. In the evening, the group departs for Delhi, covering 510 kilometers over 10-11 hours. As they reach Delhi the next morning, the travelers reflect on the amazing trip, filled with unforgettable experiences and stunning landscapes, marking the end of an incredible adventure.
